This app is a customizable template for a Roku channel that can accommodate as many videos and categories of videos that you want.
The channel can play archived video files as well as live streams. SD or HD videos are supported. When you need to add new videos, all you have to do is update RSS files. This channel was designed with churches in mind who have archived teachings as well as a live webcast each week. However, anyone with a video archive would find this template useful. You don’t have to be skilled in BrightScript or SceneGraph in order to develop a Roku channel. Simply follow the step by step instructions that are provided and your channel will be ready to submit in no time at all. CodeCanyon did not have a specific category for a Roku channel, so I selected “native app.” This template can be edited on both Windows or Mac. I used this code to create a Roku channel for my church which currently has over 7,600 installs.
